2. Use of Our Website

This website is provided so visitors can learn about our work, view examples of past projects, and request a design consultation. 3. Consultations and Scheduling

A design consultation begins with a site visit, which is scheduled directly with our team. Appointment times are confirmed once both parties agree on a date, and we ask for reasonable notice if a scheduled visit needs to be changed or canceled. We take on a limited number of new projects each season, and accepting a consultation request does not guarantee that a project will move forward, since scope, budget, and timing must be worked out together.

4. Design and Installation Work

Every plan we produce reflects Harriet’s assessment of a specific property at a specific point in time. Plant availability, seasonal conditions, and site conditions discovered once work begins can require adjustments to the original plan. We will discuss any such changes with the client before proceeding. Because we work with living material, we describe plant selections and outcomes as accurately as we can, but growth, color, and form will vary somewhat from property to property and season to season.

5. Limits on Our Responsibility

Landscaping involves living material, and a plant’s long term success depends on far more than how it is installed. Soil chemistry, drainage, sun exposure, watering habits, and weather all play a role after our team leaves the property, and those factors are outside what we can control or predict. If a plant struggles or fails once a project is complete, that alone does not mean it was installed incorrectly. Southern Landscape Atlanta is not liable for losses tied to drought, freeze events, storm damage, pests, disease, or a lack of the ongoing maintenance a planting requires.

6. Design Plans and Ownership

Each design plan is drawn by hand and represents original work developed specifically for the property it was made for. The plan remains the property of Southern Landscape Atlanta until the associated project has been paid in full. Plans are provided for the client’s own use and are not to be handed off to another contractor, copied, or used as the basis for a separate project without our written agreement.

7. Service Area

We currently take on projects in Buckhead, Sandy Springs, and Brookhaven. A request for a property outside these areas may still be considered, but we cannot guarantee availability, and being contacted through our website does not obligate us to take on a project outside our established service area.

8. Payment and Project Terms

Specific pricing, deposits, and payment schedules are set out in the individual proposal or contract for each project, and those project specific terms govern the work along with this general policy. We reserve the right to pause or decline a project if payment terms are not met.
